Amber and Dj are getting married tomorrow! So I thought, theres not better time for me to share their engagement portrait session and give my toast .. Since I probably won't be able to at the wedding! Amber and I met by fate... Instagram. She found me while looking at wedding venues and scheduled a consultation pretty quickly after, I was flattered! We met and immediately had a connection, we found ourselves distracted by conversation, and puppies (Espen was so little then :'(...). I knew that we would have a great relationship, she loved my honesty, and ideas... and I loved her spark, attitude and sense of fashion and beauty! It wasn't long till we were meeting in some tiny little town a little ways away from Greensboro to photograph these engagement portraits. I met DJ and after begging Amber via Text to have Dj wear a blazer, .. the first thing I said when he put it on was " you need to lose the blazer"... I am so honest! It just didn't suit him, Dj is literally one of the kindest, funniest and albeit smartest men I have had the pleasure of meeting. He kept me on my toes the entire session, made Amber laugh so genuinely and so often. By the end of the evening I think he was quite fond of me too! I also had the pleasure of meeting Dj's family that night and what charming and sweet people they were, I have never felt more welcome in a strangers home.
Months have passed, together Amber and I have traveled to another state and I photographed some GORGEOUS bridal portraits.. Keep an eye out! We have designed one of the most breathtaking stationery collections, ate sushi, shopped, and texted each other when we should have been asleep. I cannot wait to see where these two go in life. Together they can do anything and I know they have no idea yet, but it only gets better from here when you put each other first! I love you both, I'm excited to be with you on your wedding day and as you grow as a couple, and family!
